Tonya Hairston Ware was born to parents who traveled throughout the United States pioneering and planting churches. Tonya began singing at the age of six and, when she was older, accompanied her father to local jails providing ministry. After graduating high school with honors, she enrolled and graduated with a Bachelors of Science degree from Mississippi State University. While at Mississippi State, she joined a renowned campus choir and traveled extensively, performing for conferences, churches, special events, and corporate functions.

After a delay in her Peace Corps assignment, Tonya moved to Jackson, Mississippi, and immediately began to make a name for herself. For more than twelve (12) years, Tonya focused on her career as a Benefits and Retirement Planner for a Fortune 500 Company. She was named a member of the “Top 40 Under 40 Mississippi Business Professionals” for her expert knowledge and successful career on January 16, 2008. Tonya was consistently in her former company’s top ten (10) in performance and sales nationwide.

After marrying her soul mate, Bishop Adrian D. Ware, Tonya, and her husband pioneered The Church Triumphant Global, where she serves as Executive Pastor and Community Advocacy Director. Her leadership, music, and service have touched thousands of people worldwide. Tonya H. Ware has been featured on BET, TBN, FOX, Music Choice, GMC, etc. Tonya is a three-time “Jackie” Award winner by the Mississippi Gospel Music Association. She is a 2009 Stellar Award Nominee for Contemporary Female Artist of the Year. In 2013, Pastor Tonya was accepted into summer programs to study music with the Jacob School of Music, Bloomington, Indiana, and the Berklee School of Music, Los Angles campus.

In October 2014, she and her husband opened their business, The Success House, LLC, where she is the Managing Partner. The Success House firm focuses on mentoring entrepreneurs as they open and scale up their businesses. In March 2015, she released her first inspirational book, “Life Is Your Song,” with famed actor Hill Harper at the BJCC in Birmingham, Alabama.

Tonya H. Ware is the Creator of the life-changing “Saturday Success Church” – Jackson’s hottest one-hour Saturday Church, Creator and Host of Jackson’s only Manifestation Mastermind Program, Creator of the “Spark Starters” Women’s Business and Entrepreneurship Community Program, and the “How to Write Your Book in 60 Days” Program.

Through her intensive training with the Small Business Association (SBA.) Emerging Leader’s Program, she provides a myriad of self-help subjects for clients. She is a Greater Jackson Chamber Partnership member, past chairwoman, and currently serves as an Ambassador. She was named the Greater Jackson Chamber Partnership’s “Ambassador of the Year” honoree for 2016 and 2021 and is a member of the Ambassadors Council.

Tonya is a Certified Trainer with the Jack Canfield Success Principles Program specializing in Breakthroughs to Success. She is a 2017 graduate of Leadership Greater Jackson. She is also the 2017 Heart Survivor for the American Heart Association – Jackson, MS. Pastor Tonya advocated for the American Heart Association on Capitol Hill, which aided in bringing multi-millions of dollars to the state for heart health care.

Pastor Tonya is a gifted and sought out Master teacher, speaker, and performer. Her transparency attracts people of all cultures, races, and lifestyles, and she finds her joy in empowering others. She was named 2017 (first female) Pastor of the Year by the MS Gospel Music Awards. In June 2018, she delivered her first speech at the United Nations Global Entrepreneurship Forum in New York. In August 2018, she was named one of the “Top 50 Business Women of Mississippi,” “Woman of Achievement of the Year” by Women for Progress, and “Iconic Woman Making a Better World for All” by the Women’s Economic Forum in Los Angeles, California.

In 2019, she was awarded the Change Champion Award by NAMI MS. In July 2019, she released her new album, Signature of God: Volume 1, and completed a 30-venue tour. Her passion for transformational leadership is evident in her work with the R.E.D. Women’s Program, The Theater of Possibilities, Leadership Greater Jackson, the Greater Jackson Chamber Partnership, Women For Progress, the American Heart Association, and the Women’s Business Network. In her current role, Tonya is the State Project Director for ReadyNation. She leads the state of Mississippi’s Early Childhood Investment Council, a coalition of the state’s senior business executives focused on workforce success through investments in early childhood education.

In 2021, she completed the Yale University School of Management – Women in Leadership Executive Program. In 2022, she expanded her work with The Theater of Possibilities by launching a Youth Leadership and Youth Entrepreneurship Program to combat youth crime, youth drug abuse, youth obesity, and youth suicide in the city of Jackson. In July 2022, she released her most recent book, “Healing the Woman’s Soul.” She is most proud to be the wife of Bishop Adrian Ware and mother to daughters Wisdom and Wealth Ware.
